River Ridge Neighborhood Church in Elk Grove, CA, is seeking a Youth Pastor Intern for our growing church. We are a multicultural church of approximately 200 people who are active in worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and service. We are seeking a Youth Pastor who will develop a creative and authentic youth program in which our students are taught to love God and to live a genuine Christian life. He will be active in discipling and mentoring our young people, interacting with their parents, and guiding our lay leaders. The Youth Pastor will oversee Junior High, Senior High, and College ministries by recruiting, training, and encouraging lay leaders, He should be a team player who models servant leadership. The Youth Pastor will be also fill the pulpit on occasion, organize one Youth Sunday a year, and encourage our youth to be active in evangelism, short-term missions, and to live out their faith as salt and light in this world. Musical ability is preferred but not required.
